Frequently Asked Questions

Find the answer to the most commonly asked questions about the lottery.

Why are Erskine running a weekly lottery?

Our lottery is a fun and exciting way for supporters to get involved in raising vital funds to improve the lives of Veterans and their families, along with an opportunity to win cash prizes.

How do I win?

For every £1 you play each week, you’ll receive a unique 6-digit lottery number. Match your digits to win up to £25,000.

  • 3 digit match = 5 entries into the next draw
  • 4 digit match = £25
  • 5 digit match = £1,000
  • 6 digit match = £25,000

How will I know if I’ve won?

Every Friday, the lucky winners are selected at random. Your prize cheques are posted directly to you, so there is no need to make a claim.

How old must I be to enter?

You must be 18 years old or over to enter the Erskine Lottery.

Can I choose my own lottery numbers?

No. Your unique 6-digit lottery numbers are chosen randomly and will be your numbers for the duration you play our lottery. When you enter the lottery, you will be sent confirmation of your unique lottery numbers.

How much of each £1 played goes to support Veterans at Erskine?

After prizes and administration costs, 50p of every £1 you play is guaranteed to provide support for our brave Veterans and their families at Erskine.

Why is it £4.34 per month when paying by direct debit?

The draw takes place every Friday and sometimes there are 5 Fridays in a month. The additional £0.34p will build up credit to cover the months where there are five weeks.

How do I know the draw is fair?

Erskine have partnered with Unity Lotteries. Unity offers the best odds of any platform of its kind. It’s a number match game so the odds are fixed. This means that every £1 entry and lottery number has an equal chance of winning a prize.

The winning numbers will be drawn by Unity, our External Lottery Partner, using an industry standard ‘random number generator’. You can find the rules on our rules page.
